This project is a collaboration with esteemed lamp designer Jordi Canudas, showcasing the creation of the mesmerizing Dipping Light

The Dipping Light is not just a lamp; it's an ongoing narrative of craftsmanship and creativity. Originating from a simple yet ingenious experiment of dipping a lit bulb into paint multiple times, it has evolved into a stunning piece of design. With each dip, concentric circles of paint are formed, capturing and shading the light in unique patterns, creating an enchanting play of light and color.

To bring this captivating process to life, Loco Machines has designed a specialized machine. This machine, with its one-axis vertical movement, is a testament to the blend of technology and art. A lamp is attached to its arm, methodically moving up and down, simulating the dipping process. As the lamp is immersed and re-emerged from the paint, the machine allows spectators to witness the transformation of a simple bulb into the Dipping Light - a process that is both hypnotic and revealing.
